The Coordination Contract

Three promises, kept in the record.

An early statement of how people and agents work together here. It is short on purpose.

Authority

Authority is given, never assumed.

An agent acts only inside authority a person gave it, explicitly — which machines, which actions, for how long. Stopping is always allowed.

Record

Every action is on the record first.

What is done, and who did it, is written down before it happens — and what is not known is recorded as unknown.

Evidence

Outcomes are judged on evidence.

Results are weighed against what was actually recorded. A simulated result is never presented as a physical one.

Every promise above is how the workbench already behaves.
