One address, one file.
A world, a device, a run, a monitor and a setting are each a plain file. Every reference points at a file by its ref.
The ontology
Every arrow ends at a file.
A unit names its definition, a run names the file it is of, a grant names a world by its address. Nothing is merged by a global id.
A run is a folder you can read.
This is one run in CommandAGI's own Drive, as it is stored: five plain files. Its run.json names the monitor file it is of. Its streams only grow.
Read on 2026-11-04 by scripts/sites/case-studies.mjs, from the production Drive. The hlc and salt fields of each line are left out here.

318,823 files, no database of them.
CommandAGI's own account, cloud://home/user-commandagi/ in production, listed file by file on 2026-11-04 (48.8 GB). The numbers are in case-studies/everything-is-a-file/stats.json in that Drive.
A file is the record. A run's streams are its record. There is no second copy in a table that could disagree with them. Code is the document. A world, a 3D part, a schematic and a task are .tsx files. The editors write each edit back into the code.
